Sytinskoe Delo is a contest of student works, dedicated to the founder of the First Printing House Ivan Sytin.
The idea of identity is based on a symbolic image of a printing press from the beginning of the 20th century, associated with the publishing activity of Ivan Sytin. The text logo refers to the Trendy Slavic font that was popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries).
Primitive geometric shapes were chosen in the composition of the logo because they refer us to the origins of book printing, when technology was not as developed as it is today. This was reflected in the simple shapes of the elements.
This decision helped to make the style binding to the logo of the First Printing House. The result is a transformation from old technologies to new ones, from simple forms to complex ones, which clearly emphasizes the historical continuity of the Printing house of Sytin and the First Printing House.
